Adam Boguski is a marriage and family therapy therapist with 15 years of clinical experience treating a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. Before joining the practice at Bala Child and Family Associates, he served as both a front line therapist as well as a clinical supervisor for a community based family treatment program (FBMHS) in Lancaster, PA. This is a highly regarded state-wide program specializing in treating children and adolescents who are at risk for inpatient hospitalization or residential treatment.

In addition to his clinical practice, Adam has been a faculty member at the Center for Family Based Training (CFBT) since 2017. This is a post-graduate program that trains professional counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists in how to apply an Eco-Systemic Structural Treatment approach to supporting high risk children, adolescents, and families. Adam received training and supervision in family therapy from the Center for Family based Training, the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center, and the Minuchin Center for the Family.

Adam is currently completing his dissertation for a Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy and working toward licensure. Until he is fully licensed, he is receiving clinical supervision from Dr. C. Wayne Jones, the founder and director of the Center for Family Based Training. In his practice at Bala Child and Family Associates, Adam works with individuals, couples, and families, across the age spectrum. He offers treatment via telehealth as well as in-person through his offices in Bala Cynwyd and Lancaster. He has a special interest in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, parent-child relationship issues, and couple conflict.
